What’s New
I have always been involved with music. I played music in church at a young age and played trumpet in elementary school and middle school. I learned guitar at age 16 after going on a retreat. I have played in many rock bands over the years, and played guitar in the USS America’s ship’s band while deployed to the Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean. I have played on the beaches of Monte Carlo, at the American Embassy in Muscat, Oman, and on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier while traveling through the Suez Canal.
I spent nearly 8 years in the US Navy as a computer systems specialist and in-flight technician. I have earned the Navy Achievement Medal and several other medals during my time on Aircraft Carriers and Naval Air Stations.
I have traveled the world, visiting over 20 countries including Singapore, Uganda, France, Italy, Egypt, Bolivia, and Taiwan. I have taught music in many countries and have an on-going program for church musicians in Nepal, Uganda, and Rwanda, Africa.
I stay involved in local community events such as City of Orlando Candlelight service at Lake Eola, City of Winter Springs Community Easter Sunrise Service, community planning board, and help at local schools with music programs and technical assistance. I have participated as one of three celebrity judges two consecutive years for the City’s version of “American Idol” on the 4th of July.
